A few years ago, I was asked to help promote a struggling local business website. They needed more traffic from their local community, especially during the holidays. I said, “Sure; I’d be glad to help!”

Making an already appealing site even friendlier to local search is basic web 101, right? It looked like a nicely done site - then, I began to dig deeper.
